The scholarship program held by PTTEP and Dompet Dhuafa has finally produced 9 graduates. From around 25 recipients of the scholarship program from various education backgrounds, these recipients received not only full scholarship but also leadership training, and self-development training.
General Manager of PTTEP Indonesia, Titi Thongjen said during the Graduation Ceremony PTTEP Scholarship Batch 2014, at Harris Hotel Grand Ballroom, this event is an important milestone not only for the graduating students but also for their families. “It is like we from PTTEP providing you all with the car and the road, but ultimately only the students can drive the car.”
PTTEP also gave six laptops to the students who graduated with the highest scores
Marlina, a scholarship recipient said: “I am very grateful and feel very proud and fortunate to be accepted into this program. The PTTEP scholarship program became the foundation of my hopes after a long struggle. Now I believe that even a farmer’s daughter can become a doctor.”
The PTTEP-Dompet Dhuafa scholarship program is held in 10 of the best universities in Indonesia, including UI, UGM, Diponogoro University, ITB, Airlangga University and Hassanuddin University.
