PTTEP Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa Promote Stunting Prevention Through Child Health Services

19 May 2026

To commemorate the 11th anniversary of the Gerai Sehat Rorotan Clinic, a health service program themed "A Great Generation Without Stunting, Yes We Can" was held with support from PTTEP Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa. This program is part of a joint effort to support healthy child growth and development through education, health monitoring, and providing good nutrition from an early age.

The Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) campaign includes education on handwashing habits, maintaining sanitation, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle in supporting child growth. Furthermore, the activity includes outreach on balanced nutrition to prevent stunting in early childhood. Participants receive health education, growth and development monitoring, nutritious food, and a health kit to support the implementation of a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives.

Ibu Munjidah, Manager of the Gerai Sehat Rorotan Clinic and speaker at the educational session, stated that stunting prevention requires a collaborative effort through ongoing health education and monitoring. "Stunting prevention must begin early through a clean and healthy lifestyle, good nutrition, and regular monitoring of children's growth. We hope this activity will raise awareness among parents, teachers, and the community about the importance of maintaining child growth and development to create a healthy and quality generation," she said.

The first series of activities took place at Amira Mumtaz Kindergarten on Tuesday (May 12, 2026), followed by Wednesday (May 13, 2026) at Bougenville Early Childhood Education Center and RA Miftakhul Khoir. Participants were highly enthusiastic throughout the event, with the children actively participating in various interactive and educational activities. The caregivers and teachers also participated in efforts to understand the importance of early stunting prevention. A total of 210 children and their caregivers attended the event, part of a collaborative effort to raise awareness of the importance of a clean and healthy lifestyle and regular monitoring of children's growth and development.

The principal of Amira Mumtaz Kindergarten, Gian Ginanjar, S.E., stated, "Thank you to PTTEP Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa for implementing the health program at our school. Hopefully, this program will make the children healthier and more enthusiastic about learning. In line with the government's MBG program, we hope that children's nutritional needs will be met properly to support their growth and development and a brighter future," Ginanjar said.

Following the activity, participants will continue to monitor their child's development regularly through the health services provided at the clinic. This monitoring is expected to help prevent the risk of stunting early on and support optimal child growth and development.

Through this health service program, PTTEP Indonesia, together with Dompet Dhuafa, hopes to continue making a real contribution to creating a healthy, active, and stunting-free generation for a brighter future.
