Celebrating One Decade of Gerai Sehat Rorotan, PTTEP Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa Organize Breast Cancer Education and Free Check-up

North Jakarta - In commemoration of 10 years of Gerai Sehat Rorotan's work in public health services, PTTEP Indonesia collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa to hold a series of activities entitled — Women Health Services — "Hi Ladies! Together We Empower and Inspire". 

This activity began with breast cancer education and free medical check-up which took place in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Gerai Sehat Rorotan, Wednesday (11/6).
More than 50 health cadres and local residents took part in this activity, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer - the highest cause of death in Indonesian women.

This event presented the main resource person, Dr. Dr. Muhammad Yadi Permana, Sp.B, Subsp. Onk (K), an oncological surgeon who emphasizes the importance of the SADARI (Self Breast Examination) and SADANIS (Clinical Examination) methods as the first step in prevention.
"With early detection and correct understanding, the cure rate for breast cancer can be very high. This activity is hoped to be the first step in building collective awareness," explained Dr. Yadi in his speech.

Not only education, participants also get hemoglobin examination services, direct medical consultations, and mammography examinations - all for free.
This activity is part of a series of four commemorations for the 10th Anniversary of Gerai Sehat Rorotan, which will continue on June 28, July 2, and culminate on July 31, 2025.
